Below we replace a worn out cell with a new one, before
re-sealing the battery. At the end of the procedure, the battery will be fully
functional and safe again for use.

Common problems can include acid leaks, corrosion, and low water
levels. Below is
an example of the procedures we take to restore batteries.
Problems with this battery (left): The tar seal has deteriorated
and cracked allowing battery acid to leak through and cause corrosion. Contacts
are oxidizing and need to be welded. One cell needs replacing due to damage.
The picture on the above right shows how the contacts were cleaned and the surrounding seal has been prepared for re-taring.
